About Us

Hi! I am Michelle Parrish-Tyler the owner of Indulging Pleasures Cakes LLC, lead cake designer, cake coach, wife and mother of two girls Lyric and Cameron. I am a self-taught cake artist who simply wanted to create revenue and stability for myself and daughter when I was a single mom. With no formal training behind me, I had a vision to start baking cupcakes. I followed that vision, visited my local Barnes N Noble book store, and began reading up on the science of baking and I got to work. I started giving away my cupcakes to fellow co-workers and neighbors, who shockingly loved them and wanted to purchase them. This motivation prompted me to start creating orders. It wasn’t long after that I had a full running cupcake business from home in 2013. Fast forward to 2017 when I met an amazing and supportive friend Timeka (now my wife) who pushed me to make my first dinner cake. Her constant motivation and belief in my abilities blossomed into me creating custom celebration cakes. Throughout my journey as a Master Cake artist, I have done it all! I have worked in the retail sector with PUBLIX grocery store as a wedding cake decorator producing chocolate treats and more. In 2023, Indulging Pleasures blossomed into a full time Luxury Wedding and Celebration Company. I offer custom luxe designer Cakes, cupcakes and cakesicles under a brand called “Oh My Cakesicle”. Each Cake is designed and tailored to our client’s needs and aesthetic. 

I also teach in person and online courses to all levels from beginner to novice cake artist. I like to say that Buttercream cakes are my specialty. I pride myself on providing all my clients with a unique cake experience starting with superior customer service and high quality products fit to please their taste buds!
